PTFE Balls or Polytetrafluorethylene Balls are non-friction balls that are resistant to corrosive and rust agents. They are electrically nonconductive in nature; hence they are used in apparatus for handling the cryogenic acids and liquids. Besides this, they are also utilized in ball seal valves. With excellent chemical resistance, fire-resistant and insoluble nature, these balls can be easily used up to 260C. They come with low friction design and stable mechanical properties that make them suitable in the development for O-rings, stirring bars, bearings, joints, syringes, evaporating dishes etc.
